Anne-Marie Jacobus is a recent graduate who is currently working part-time doing research and collection care for a private art collection in London.
Experience:
Prior to pursuing an academic career in Museum Studies and Art History, Anne-Marie worked for a private corporate collection in the United States where she acted as the company's Art Liaison and Tour Guide. She was also the first point of contact on behalf of the company in all matters relating to its Collection, including interfacing with scholars, curators, writers, and CEOs.
Education:
Anne-Marie has an M.A. in Museums Studies from Leicester University, and an M.A. in Art History from Glasgow University that was part of a three-year degree with Christies Education, London.
Her fields of specialties include the history of nineteenth-century art collecting with a special focus on women collectors of European decorative arts and oriental porcelain, and gender issues relating to female artists during the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Centuries.
