Paleolithic Art Resources for Educators

Resources for any educator wishing to incorporate Paleolithic Art History into the curriculum. Age/grade recommendations are included, but all plans and ideas should be easily adaptable for younger or older students.
Jah's Mural
Objective, key words, materials needed, the lesson plan and an assessment are all provided in this offering courtesy of Education World®. Suggested for grades 6-8 or 9-12.
How to Paint a Mammoth
A really neat article, first published in The Bulletin of Primitive Technology. This goes far beyond the painting bits: making authentically correct Paleolithic paints, binders and brushes are covered within, as well. This looks as if it could be a great deal of fun for Art History students.
Ice Age Art Game
"A large cave has been discovered in Southern France..." So reads the introduction to this game, which is online and actually a series of games (in Macromedia Flash format). Any child that can read and play a video game will find this entertaining. (Teachers, be sure to check out the accompanying Ice Age Art Game Teacher's Guide.)
