How to Create an Optical Art Work Yourself
If you'd rather not pick up a brush, here you can find out how to create Op Art on your computer. The author doesn't mention which software was used, but this pattern was easily replicated in Windows Paint.

"Dan Zen, mad inventor meets Internet finds peace, presents an online op art tool for your screen or to project at dances and on bands." Honestly. And it's all online, with lots of bells and whistles for hours of fooling-around fun.
