February 28, 1947, Ann Arbor, Michigan

Life:

Best known as a member of the late 60's - early 70's Detroit power rock trio, 3rd Power, multi-faceted Jem's artwork ranges from cartooning, to photography, to painting, to sculpture - all of which (1) he does simultaneously and (2) supports with his talent at automotive design. (The amazing part is that he does it all well.) Aside from his lovely, serene nature photography, other works are playful, pop-ish, colorful, full of boundless enthusiasm for life and a riot of fun for the viewer's eye!
