texture
Texture, another element of art, is used to describe either the way a three-dimensional work actually feels when touched, or the visual "feel" of a two-dimensional work.
thumbnail
A thumbnail is a tiny sketch, so called because it is typically about the size of an actual adult thumb's nail.
tint
A tint is a color to which white has been added to make it lighter.
tirage
In art, a tirage is a legal document most commonly associated with graphic editions.
tone
Tone is a quality of color.
trecento
Italian for "three hundred."
trompe l'oeil
Trompe l'oeil literally translates from French to mean "fools the eye." Hard to paint, the trompe l'oeil piece requires meticulous attention to detail on the part of the artist.
