About the show:

Cézanne to Picasso: Ambroise Vollard, Patron of the Avant-Garde is the first comprehensive exhibition devoted to the French art dealer and publisher Ambroise Vollard (1866–1939). The full exhibition contains some 100 paintings, along with ceramics, sculpture, prints, and livres d'artistes (limited-edition artists' books) commissioned and published by Vollard, all of which illustrate his superb eye for art, patronage of artists and unique place as a singular influence on Modern Art.
