Life

Deirdre Le Blanc is a fearless Renaissance woman. The daughter of multi-talented artist Lee Le Blanc, there is little she hasn't tried (save for mural painting; a future goal) and - more importantly - mastered. She paints, works in the ancient art of pysanky (Ukrainian "Easter" eggs), carves exquisite leather creations, has done production art for the motion picture industry, taught her crafts and writes both books and scripts. That she does all of these things well is a marvel to behold.

Important Works

  • Pysanky, 1994-Present
  • Safari Chair (leather), 1992
  • Gouache garden paintings, ongoing
