Definition:

(noun) - A term used in ceramics, greenware is clay that is mostly dry ("leather hard"), but has not yet been fired. At this stage, it can either be fired, joined to more clay (and then fired) or re-wetted and deformed.

Less commonly, "greenware" can also refer to a certain type of Chinese ware with a green glaze.
