Stan Parchin, Senior Correspondent for Museums/Special Exhibitions, has been hard at it compiling this preview for Fall 2005. Stan, you see, is a specialist in Renaissance art (among other things; honestly, the man must need to fly in 747s or larger to carry all of his accomplishments) and we in the Eastern U.S. are to be gifted with numerous Renaissance exhibitions this coming fall and winter. With his usual skill at honing in on the Truly Important, he tells us all what's worth seeing and when. Stan is just going to have to suffer me and mine crashing at his place one of these days, as the upcoming Fra Angelico show at the Met sounds like a "not-to-be-missed" event. (Although, now that I think of it, "me and mine crashing" is poor thanks for anyone, let alone our splendid, I-probably-owe-him-a-kidney-or-something, museum guru ... ) Thanks, Stan!
