Book Review: Forgotten Faces
Tuesday March 8, 2005
The first reference of its kind, Forgotten Faces: A Window Into Our Immigrant Past is recommended reading for art historians seeking information on enamel portraiture, those who take an interest in threatened and/or vanishing art mediums and Americans with immigrant roots. If you've never heard of photo-ceramic portraiture, I fully understand. I was right there with you until the author, Ron Horne, kindly sent Forgotten Faces for review. Now, I marvel that this medium has been hiding in plain sight all along. Read the review to discover more.
