It was a beautiful, cloudless morning here. Sunny, warm and just time for our local public radio station to begin playing its daily three hours of classical. But, at 9:05, we got a special news bulletin instead of music. The rest of the day is etched in my memory like a slow-motion horror movie.
Of the 2,752 beloved spouses, parents, children, siblings and friends who perished in and around the WTC, one was a wildly talented sculptor who was in his studio on the 92nd floor of the North Tower on that fateful morning.
