Michael Jackson's Ancient Doppelganger

Yes. Well. I must admit that sharp-eyed visitors at The Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago have a point. The face of this New Kingdom Egyptian limestone sculpture does look a lot like that of Michael Jackson in the last decade of his life. And now that the King of Pop has, sadly, left us, we can probably expect stories about "seeing" him in potato chips or at out-of-the-way Midwestern convenience stores ... surely you're aware of how it's been with post-1977 Elvis sightings.

But, back to this intriguing sculpture. The Field Museum has provided us with a detailed image of Statue of a Woman, and I've written up some accompanying fast facts (you can read and look here). You know, just an F.Y.I. amongst ourselves. I do not advocate spoiling anyone else's Michael Jackson fun.
