Image Gallery: From the Summer 2007 Special Exhibitions Listings

To accompany his hand-picked list of Summer 2007 Special Exhibitions, we've been additionally treated to a sampler image gallery selected by Stan Parchin. It is always surprising - and delightful - to see which images from which periods and geographic regions that Stan includes. You wouldn't suppose that so much variety could be packed into nine images but, yes, choices abound. Here, for example, he has covered periods from ancient to Modern art, created everywhere from China to France to the prairies of the American West.
