Winter 2006-07 Special Exhibitions Listings

Monday November 27, 2006
Image © National Archaeological Museum, Athens; Used with permissionAssembled quarterly by Stan Parchin, the Special Exhibitions Listings represent many shows that are especially noteworthy and deserving of your attention. The Winter 2006-07 list, one of our longest to date, is no exception. As most of us commence to rushing through the holiday whirl, remember that these exhibitions exist in fairly quiet venues and offer psyche-restoring interludes for those burnt-out from shopping, cooking and socializing. Art museums also represent opportunities a parent can feel wonderful about offering to his or her children, while they are out of school and in need of diversion.

Stan and I thank the many of you who've written with praise for previous Special Exhibitions Listings. It is no easy task to narrow things down while attempting to be geographically inclusive and Stan does an excellent job. We both hope that you enjoy the Winter 2006-07 Special Exhibitions Listings, and are able to spend many pleasurable hours viewing your favorites in person.
