20 Questions: Jackson Pollock

Saturday November 11, 2006
Following in the vein of who the #$&% Jackson Pollock was, reports that his Number 5, 1948 sold earlier this month for $140 million (US) are unsubstantiated. While David Geffen did confirm that he's sold this work privately, it is not known to whom or for how much. Be the mind-numbing sums as they may, my own pressing concerns are geared towards beefing up my brief little Pollock bio. As a beginning to this end, here is a pleasant diversion entitled "20 Questions: Jackson Pollock." Pollock certainly packed a lot of future quiz material into his 44 years, and it bears repeating - before you read through some of it - that truth really *is* often stranger than fiction. Have fun with the quiz!
