Special Exhibition Review: Surrealism USA

Friday April 22, 2005
Art3_SageCities_blog.jpgStan Parchin, Contributing Editor for Museum/Special Exhibitions, recently spent a day taking in the National Academy Museum's Surrealism USA show and reports his findings here. (Thank goodness he's on the job; there seem to be so many Surrealism exhibitions on right now it's hard to keep them straight.) Once again, Stan has packed his review with background information and the kind of juicy layout and design details that make the show easy to visualize. The bottom line? Worth your time if you can get into Manhattan before May 8th, and heads up, Arizona - Surrealism USA is traveling to Phoenix after that.
