10 Years 100 Artists

Marion Boddy-Evans, About.com Guide to Painting, had the pleasure of reviewing this new book. Entitled "10 Years 100 Artists: Art in a Democratic South Africa" this serves as, in her words, " a showcase of South African art after a decade of democracy and the country’s reintegration into the international community." This sounds intriguing; I confess to knowing very little about emergent art in the whole of the African continent. Those of you who have indicated interest in (1) new artists and (2) collecting, will find wonderful new possibilities in the review. Thank you for the tip, Marion.
