Famous Names in Art
Friday February 6, 2004
The "C" section (a little labor and delivery pun?) has gotten a few new names, lately. Notably now present: that Bad Boy of the Baroque, Caravaggio. Love his work, but was saddened that the really juicy details (feuds/duels/murder/pursuit by Knights Templar) didn't make the editorial cut. He sure packed a whole lot of life into 38 years, Caravaggio did.
Note: A reader just wrote to ask where this week's Artist He Should Know was, and I told him (as I now tell the world) there were some unexpected technical difficulties this week. It's coming, I promise. (On the upside, I now know how to install a new heat sink into a CPU. You need at least two screwdrivers. One has a Phillips head, and one is made with orange juice and vodka.)
